Rita Bees Bareroot Daylilies are grown with great care using only the bareknuckle and rake methods of weeding - that means NO chemical sprays and better environment for pollinators.

Because the Daylilies for sale on this site include early-, mid- and late-bloomers, there's the potential for showy flowers for months.
Daylilies come in a variety of forms, sizes, colors and patterns literally taking your breath away every day they bloom.

Don't be put off by the fact that a bloom lasts only one day - each plant has many buds that bloom over a period of several weeks.   And ... if it's a rebloomer, it will send up more scapes (stems) several weeks after its season finishes.

Heirloom Daylilies are interesting for their simple beauty. They contain the history of today's registered daylilies. Rita Bees is always adding more of these Treasures to the garden.  H. 'Citrina' registered in 1897 (not a typo) and H. 'Hyperion' registered in 1924 are the two oldest cultivars. H. 'Autumn Minaret' (Stout, 1951) bears scapes that are 66" in height - taller than me!
